Jan Richmond has been with Landmark Parking, Inc. since 1994 beginning his career in the trenches and climbing the ladder to upper management in just ten years. He has been an integral part of Landmark’s successful track record of providing special event and valet management services for the University of Maryland at College Park, Towson University and a host of other clients throughout the Baltimore and Washington DC metropolitan area. He has worked and managed events for collegiate venues, professional organizations, corporate business events and even the occasional wedding.
Jan has seen the systems and procedures for event parking and traffic control planning along with ticketing and cash handling processes evolve from simple seat-of-the-pants manual process to what is today, a highly automated and sophisticated management program incorporating the latest in internet and electronic data capturing and distribution systems coupled with state-of-the-art money management processes.
Jan’s experience does not begin or end with special event parking. As member of the Baltimore area management team for the past several years, he has gained immeasurable experience in numerous multi-faceted environments ranging from residential, commercial, private and retail operations. He is well versed in a multitude of systems technologies manufactured by Amano Systems, SKIDATA, CTR/HUB, ParkingSOFT and Scheidt & Bachmann to name but a few.
